A densely conical form of common Hornbeam which is excellent planted as a specimen tree or where space is limited. Very narrow when young but broadening slightly with age. Green, deeply veined leaves turn to yellow in autumn. If planted 90cm (3ft) apart it will make a good tall screen with a minimal maintenance of pruning. Deciduous.

TREE 6 x 2.7m (20 x 9ft) in 20 years, ultimate height 18m (60ft).

To ensure the best plant health we do not store our plants in cold storage, but they are left in our field or plant beds until they are ready for packing or collection.

Items marked Br are bare rooted plants grown from cuttings and are typically 1-2 years old.

Availability

Bare rooted plants are only available when the plants are dormant (typically from late November to March).
