We have sending items mail order for over 75 years, so have a lot of experience of packing and sending plants and gardening goods.
Nationwide Delivery
We can deliver throughout the UK using one of these couriers: DPD, APC, ParcelForce and Royal Mail. We can send larger and heavy items on a pallet by Pallet Track for curbside delivery.
Except for the postcodes listed for remote Scottish Mainland/Highlands/Islands, Isle of Man and Channel Isles our standard delivery is:
- For parcels less than 1.2m our standard charge is £9.95, or free for orders over £150.
- For parcels over 1.2m there is an additional £7 charge (or £15 for orders less than £50). Orders over £150 are also free of charge.
- Small items less than 1Kg can be sent by Royal Mail for £4.95.
Due to Brexit restrictions we cannot send any plants or seeds to Northern Ireland.
Specified Date Delivery
If you require delivery on a specified date, as long as it is a normal working day, we can arrange this through a next working day delivery service. This service is subject to sufficient notice being given, the weather, and availability of goods. We would appreciate as much notice as possible, especially during peak periods, such as November, December and March. To request this use the "Specified delivery date" option as the delivery method in the checkout and select a date next to the order total on this page. There is a £6 surcharge for this service.

Postcodes: HS, IV1-IV56, IV63, KA27-KA28, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA88, PH19-PH44, PH49-PH50, ZE. IM, JE, GY.
The cost of delivery will depend on the size and weight of the parcels. As plant sizes and weight can vary please ask for a quotation. There are some government restrictions on what plants can be sent to the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey.
You can either telephone or email us with what you would like to order and we will get back to you with a price, or to get a quote online:
- Add items to basket and go to checkout as normal.
- When your delivery address has one of the above postcodes you will be given a delivery option of "Quote for Delivery", select this option.
- You can then either enter your card details or select Phone Orders as payment method. We do not charge any cards until plants are sent out, and you have accepted any delivery quote.
- Once your order is complete, our office will check the order and work out the price to deliver it and send you an email with a price.
- You can either accept the quote, or if you don't want to proceed we will cancel the order.
Local Delivery and Click and Collect
We also offer the following services:
- Local delivery on our own vehicle, ideal for larger items such as furniture, tall trees and compost.
- Click and Collect from the Garden Centre.
