Large blue-green leaves with a bolt of creamy-yellow which flashes down the centre of the leaves. Leaves are corrugated and form an eye catching mound with spikes of bell-shaped white flowers mid-summer which are particularly effective in a shady area. Said to be slug resistant.

Hostas make ideal ground cover plants for sun or partial shade and once established can be left undisturbed for years. This variegated variety keeps its colouring better if planted in semi-shade. They thrive in well-drained but moisture retentive soils and this should be enriched with well rotted compost or leaf-mould. The foliage is most attractive and in the summer the plants are crowned with racemes of nodding trumpet-like, fragrant white flowers which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. They are also good planted in pots and containers and can brighten up a shady area with their blue-green and creamy-yellow variegated foliage. The foliage will die down in the winter then re-shoot in the spring. Height & Spread: 45 x 60cm (18ins x 2ft)
