Fast growing annual or biennial which will produce vivid orange, daisy-like flowers over a long period from late spring to autumn. Deadhead the flowers to increase flowering potential, and pinch out the terminal shoots to give the plants a bushier form. Leaves are aromatic and can be added to salads. Flower petals are a very good culinary dye and are also good in salads and omelettes, or can be made into an interesting tea.

Plant in a sunny position in light, poor but well drained soil. Will self seed but not become invasive.

Height 30 - 60cm (1 - 2ft), spread 30-45cm (1-1.5ft).
