PEAR, SENSATION
Pyrus communis Sensation

A sport of Williams' Bon Cretien, producing pears with bright red skin when ripe, with flesh creamy-white, melting and juicy. The tree is attractive enough to be used in the ornamental garden as all new foliage in shiny and coppery red, especially attractive when contrasted against the white flowers in spring. Raised in Australia in 1940.
