Reliable, fast growing, very dwarf buddleja with a dense, neat habit which thrives in sun or semi-shade in well drained and even poor soil. From July to September it produces dense, sweet smelling, conical heads of lilac flowers. Very attractive to butterflies as rich in nectar. Ideal for containers and small gardens, or will make a dwarf hedge if planted 50cm (20 inches) apart.

SHRUB Prune back to 3 or 4 buds in March. Height and spread 80cm (31ins).

HEDGE For hedges 60 - 75cm (2 - 2.5ft). Plant 30cm (1ft) apart.
