Berberis are a wide range of deciduous, semi-evergreen and evergreen, densely spiny shrubs grown for their attractive cup-shaped, mainly yellow flowers in spring, and purple or red edible fruits in late summer and autumn. Evergreens have variable but attractive shiny prickly foliage and the deciduous plants usually have very attractive autumn colouring. They require sun or semi-shade and thrive in all but water-logged soil. Many make excellent informal or formal hedges.Berberis Golden Ring is a deciduous shrub with unusual, attractive large deep purple leaves edged with gold which hold a good colour until autumn when they turn a beautiful red. Yellow flowers in spring followed by red berries in autumn.

These are normally sold in small 9cm wide pots, unless a different pot size is shown (where the pot size is shown in litres). Pot grown plants can be planted at any time of the year.
Availability
Pot Grown are generally available all year.
If a plant is currently out of stock because it is out of season (for example, bare rooted plants in summer) or we have sold out but we are expecting more to be available you can pre-order the plant. We only charge credit/debit cards when an order is despatched, not when an order is placed.
