Perennial with an evergreen rosette of dark green, lance-shaped, toothed leaves. In summer it produces erect stems on which will be masses of outward facing, cup-shaped, blue flowers which are 5cm (2ins) across. These are good for cut flowers. Plant in moderately fertile, moist but well drained, neutral to alkaline soil in sun or partial shade.
Height 50cm (20ins), spread 30cm (12ins).

These are normally sold in small 9cm wide pots, unless a different pot size is shown (where the pot size is shown in litres). Pot grown plants can be planted at any time of the year.

Pot Grown are generally available all year.
