Excellent evergreen, self-clinging ground cover plant with large dark glossy green leaves. which grows rapidly to 6m (20ft) or more but readily contained by pruning. Round clusters of light green flowers, which are very attractive to bees and other insects, appear in early spring and these are followed by black fruits in autumn, which provide a good source of bird food. Tolerant of dry conditions and heavy shade. Also can be used as a dense wall cover plant. Nectar, pollen and berries of ivy are an essential food source for insects and birds during autumn and winter when little else is about. It also provides shelter for insects, birds, bats and other small mammals. Height 15cm (6ins). Height (wall cover) 6m (20ft) or more.

These are normally sold in small 9cm wide pots, unless a different pot size is shown (where the pot size is shown in litres). Pot grown plants can be planted at any time of the year.
Availability
Pot Grown are generally available all year.
