Small, very ornamental tree, round headed tree ideal for small gardens. In late spring masses of deep red flower buds appear and these open to give a spectacular display of pink flowers. These are followed by many small, glossy red fruit which change to orange and remain on the tree to January if not eaten by birds.

The leaves open in spring light green with purple tones then change to shades of bronze, yellow and orange in autumn before falling.

It was bred in the USA and introduced to this country in 2010. It is self-fertile and is a good pollinator for other apple varieties.

Minimum pruning is needed just to tidy up the tree in late winter or early spring. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Deciduous.Height and spread 3 - 4m (10 - 13ft)
