A stunning variety with huge, thick, blue-green, ribbed leaves with irregular, chartreuse-yellow margins. Near white, fragrant flowers in summer.n This variety offers good slug resistance.

Hostas make ideal ground cover plants for sun or partial shade and once established can be left undisturbed for years. This variegated variety keeps its colouring better if planted in semi-shade. They thrive in well-drained but moisture retentive soils and this should be enriched with well rotted compost or leaf-mould. The foliage is most attractive and in the summer the plants are crowned with racemes of nodding trumpet-like flowers which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. They are also good planted in pots and containers and can brighten up a shady area with their blue-green and chartreuse yellow variegated foliage. The foliage will die down in the winter then re-shoot in the spring. Height 60cm (2ft), spreading up to 120cm (4ft).
