Heuchera are grown predominantly for their leaf colour but produce slender stems of flowers in the summer that are attractive to butterflies. This easy to grow perennial is tolerant of many different growing conditions including full sun, shade, drought and seaside locations. Grow in any fertile, well drained soil. Evergreen in mild winters but tidy damaged leaves in the spring and divide clumps every 3-4 years to encourage vibrant young growth. Good resistance to damage by deer and rabbits. Be careful not to bury the crowns when planting.
A small and unusual coloured heuchera. Almost a smokey grey coloured foliage with pink splashed tones across the leaves. Pink flowers in the spring. Ideal for containers or hanging baskets or in mixed beds. Sun or partial shade. Height 15 cm (6ins), spread 25cm (10ins).
