Excellent carpeting evergreen for a sunny position. The paired leaves are thick, soft, and densely woolly white. The stems are also white and woolly, making the plant a valuable, unusual ground cover for positions with well drained soil. In summer it produces long flower spikes held above the foliage with inconspicuous purplish-pink flowers which are hidden in the white woolly leaves. In hard winters the foliage may die down but it will regenerate in the spring. Height up to 45cm (18ins), spread 1m (40ins).
