APPLE, TICKLED PINK
Baya Marisa, Malus domestica Tickled Pink

Amazing new dual purpose apple introduced in 2011. Considered to be the best flavoured , red fleshed eater with smooth red skin and deep red flesh. It is scrumptious with an old-fashioned sharp flavour and is very juicy. When cooked it keeps both its shape and deep pink colour well, and also produced a wonderful pink juice. It is also a very ornamental variety as its blossom is a solid crimson red.

Crab apples such as Golden Hornet and John Downie also are good pollinators for all apples. In areas where there are many apple trees already growing it may not be necessary to plant an extra pollinator.
