Extremely useful, well used herb. Vigorous variety with large, plain, flat leaves which have a delicious flavour and help shield the plant in the winter months. Flat heads of small cream-white flowers appear in summer. Grow in rich, moist soil in sun or partial shade.

Parsley has endless uses in the kitchen including soups, stews, salads, sandwiches, bouquet garni and is great for garnishes and to store, it freezes well. The stalks can be used in stews and the copped leaves should be added at the end of food preparation to keep the flavour.
