A beautiful small tree with slightly arching branches. Masses of pink buds open to scented soft pink blossom, 3cm across, which whitens with age in April and May, followed by a profusion of large, glossy, bright red fruit 1 inch (2.5cm) across. Ideal for use for a tangy, pink crab apple jelly or left for blackbirds or other wildlife to enjoy. Large healthy leaves are dark green and shiny. Height 10ft x 8ft (3m x 2.4m) in 10 years, ultimate height 15ft (4.6m).
