APPLE, RIBSTON PIPPIN
Malus domestica Ribston Pippin

A most highly esteemed Victorian dessert apple. Flavour intensely aromatic and rich, with juicy, firm, deep cream flesh high in vitamin C. Skin yellow with red flush. Vigorous, regular cropper. RHS Award of Merit. Believed raised 1707. Suitable for colder areas and is more resistant to frost.
