Excellent early variety producing heavy crops of tender pink sticks of good flavour. Very good for forcing when it can be ready as early as Christmas or can be grown unforced in the normal way. Self-fertile.
Rhubarb flourishes in an open sunny position, with deep fertile soil. Mulch every winter with a good, thick layer of well rotted compost, and apply a general fertiliser in the spring. Do not allow to flower unless seed is wanted as this affects next year's crop. Plant 90cm - 1.2m (3 - 4ft) apart.

These are normally sold in small 9cm wide pots, unless a different pot size is shown (where the pot size is shown in litres). Pot grown plants can be planted at any time of the year.
