This cross between Ulmus pumila and U. japonica has a considerable level of resistance to Dutch Elm disease. It is a large, fast growing, decidous tree with a broadly conical upright habit and large, toothed, glossy dark green leaves, attractively red tinged when young, turning yellow-green in autumn. Will tolerate exposed positions. TREE 60ft x 40ft (18m x 12m) This plant is registered for Plant Breeders' Rights. Propagation by unlicensed growers is prohibited.
