Vigorous, large, very hardy deciduous tree. Conspicuous clusters of yellow flowers in April before the leaves, followed by winged seeds in autumn. Good autumn colouring. Any well drained but moist soil. TREE 30ft x 15ft (9m x 4.6m) in 20 years, ultimate height 90ft (27m).
