A decorative small-fruited Squash with a marbled outer skin encasing sweet, nutty flavoured, pale orange flesh. The trailing vines play host to fruits of about 680g (1½lb), which are also good for long term storage. Sweet flesh with a delicate nutty flavour. Ideal for roasting and baking. Crops in 120 Days. - August onwards Sowing Instructions. Sow April to May. Sow in 7.5cm (3in) pots at 20-25C (68-77F) of a good free draining, damp seed compost, 12mm (1/2in) deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which takes 7-10 days. Growing Instructions. Growing instructions Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 7-10 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 90cm (36in) apart. Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed. Sow 2 seeds every 90cm (36in) and later thin out to the strongest seedling. Aftercare Instructions. Prefers well drained, moist, rich soil in full sun
