An impressive variety which produces consistent 350g (12oz) domed heads with medium beads during the late Summer through to Autumn. Also has an outstanding tolerance to heat. Crops in 90 Days.
Sowing Instructions. Sow mid May to June. Sow thinly in a prepared seedbed 1-2cm (½ to ¾in) deep. Keep well watered and cover with fine netting to deter birds and cabbage caterpillar attack.
Growing Instructions. Transplant when large enough to handle into well prepared, firm soil allowing 45x38cm (18x15in) between plants. Plant firmly with lower leaves just above soil level. Water regularly during dry weather to minimise heads running to flower. Once the central head has been cut, further smaller side shoots develop.
Aftercare Instructions. Prefers a rich, moist, well drained soil. Long cropping period. Harvest August to October.
