Tropaeolum majus Mahogany Jewel Common name: Nasturtium An easy to grow annual with compact, uniform plants which are early to flower. The large, semi-double blooms in gloaming, deepest red mahogany are produced in succession over the summer months. Excellent summer ground cover for beds, borders, and containers. Sowing Instructions. For container plants: Germinate at 15-20C (77-68F) in 7.5cm (3in) pots. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after risk of frost. Before planting into containers, ensure plants are well rooted in their pots. Growing Instructions. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30-45cm (12-18in) apart. Aftercare Instructions. Easily grown on any soil in a sunny position. Flowering Period. Summer into Autumn
