A maincrop Nantes variety producing heavy crops of smooth skinned, good flavoured, bright orange roots. The roots of this carrot resist cracking, and store well for winter usage. Also suitable for successional sowing if finger roots are required. Quick growing and suitable for all season cropping. Harvest July to December. Sowing Instructions. Sow March to June. Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Growing Instructions. Thin seedlings when large enough to handle, allowing 2cm (1in) between roots. Aftercare Instructions. Prefers well drained, moist, rich conditions.
