Nasturtium majus Strawberries And Cream

A showy variety with light yellow semi-double flowers, boldly blotched scarlet in a delightful combination. Suitable for bedding, edging and flowering freely in most soils, particularly in poor dry ones. Also makes a very showy summer flowering pot plant for the cold greenhouse, conservatory or cool, well lit windowsill. Flowers summer. Height 23cm (9in).

Sowing Instructions. Sow in spring where they are to flower 20mm (¾in) deep in well cultivated soil in a sunny open site. Sow in rows 30cm (12in) apart and thin out to 15cm (6in) between plants. For earlier flowering they can be sown in early spring at 13-16C (55-60F) and transplanted into 7.5cm (3in) pots.

Growing Instructions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost. They flower most freely in poor dryish soils and full sun.
