Very beautiful erect form with slender greyish-green branches clothed with long, narrow, finely-toothed, silky silver leaves which quiver in the breeze. Small pale yellow catkins appear with the leaves. Needs moisture to get established, then will tolerate dry conditions. Deciduous. TREE/SHRUB 13ft (4m) if pruned, 20ft (6m) if not.
